The Violation Documentation Center in Syria, at the Syrian Center for Media and Freedom of Expression, published the Monthly Statistical Report on Casualties in Syria, in June 2022.

Since March 2011 up until the end of July 2022, the Violations Documentation Center (VDC) has documented a total of 239,385 battle-related deaths.

In July 2022, a total number of 134 deaths were documented across different Syrian governorates, among them, 132 were documented by full name and 2 were registered as unknown.

All figures and statistics presented in this report were retrieved from the database of the Violations Documentation Center (VDC). They are not final and are subject to continuous and periodic scrutiny by the VDC’s database administrators and the field documentation team. Figures differ between reports and the most recent report is the most accurate.
