Journalists can submit multimedia projects to a contest.
The World Press Photo Multimedia Contest seeks entries that include professional photography in combination with, but not limited to, audio and visual elements like video, animation, graphics, illustrations, sound or text.
One representative of each winning production receives a trip to Amsterdam for the World Press Photo Awards Days in April, 2012.
The first prize team will receive EU€5,000 (about US$6,500). Each winning team will be recognized with a Golden Eye Award and a certificate.
Entries must be published in 2011 in English or with English subtitles and can’t exceed 20 minutes. All entries must include a title, synopsis, complete list of the production team and a document proving professional status of at least one of the photographers.
