Syrian Security Forces Arrest Dissident Writer Ihsan Taleb after Luring him into an Ambush

Syrian Security forces arrested on Sunday 16 October 2011 the Syrian dissident writer Ihsan Taleb in the Syrian capital, Damascus, after luring him into an ambush.  Security forces contacted Taleb using a cellphone that belong to Taleb’s friend, who also had been detained on the same day, according to the Arab Organization for Human rights in Syria.

Taleb (54 years) is a researcher in Arab and Islamic affairs.
