Students from Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Egypt, and Iraq can apply for a fellowship towards a master’s degree in the United States.
Open Society Foundations offers The Middle East Rule of Law Masters Scholarships Program (MEROL), a fellowship program for Middle Eastern students to study media or communication studies.
The program promotes a class of reform-minded professionals in the Middle East working in fields crucial to the development and sustainability of open societies.
The fellowship covers tuition, room, board, living expenses, travel, insurance, educational materials and more.
The deadline is January 30, 2012. Applications must be postmarked by January 20, 2012.
