Registration opens for the 16th Arab Media Forum

– Pre-registration is compulsory to attend the annual event

Dubai Press Club (DPC), the organizer of the 16th edition of the Arab Media Forum (AMF) announced that registration to attend the forum is now open. The two-day event is held under the patronage of Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum on the 1st and 2nd of May 2017 at Madinat Jumeirah.

Alia Al Theeb, Director of Dubai Press Club called on media professionals interested in attending the 16th edition of AMF to register through the official website of the forum)http://www.arabmediaforum.ae/en/home.aspx(,noting that pre-registration is compulsory in order to attend the annual event. She added that the AMF agenda, speakers and the Media Walk activities will be soon available on the forum’s website and application. She added that the last date for registration is 20th April 2017.

Al Theeb affirmed that DPC is keen to ease the registration process for media professionals, journalists and media students as well as bring to stakeholders a range of benefits stemming from the workshops and sessions of the Arab Media forum that will be held under the theme “Civil Dialogue”. The theme highlights the role of media in facilitating cross-cultural discussions based on the pillars of tolerance, coexistence and respect among nations regardless of their race, color and religion. The AMF is set to host prominent media experts, journalists and leaders as well as regional and international media institutions.

The forum will pave the way for media elites to discuss the status quo of the media industry and the ideal role of the media in societies. The event annually attracts over 3,000 regional and international journalists and influential decision makers.
