Filmmakers from around the world are invited to submit their work to this festival.
The Open City Documentary Festival, run by Open City Docs, seeks to create an open space in London to nurture and champion the art of creative documentary and nonfiction filmmakers. The festival wil take place Sept. 5 to 10.
Documentary films of all lengths and subject matter will be accepted. Films must have been completed after Jan. 1, 2016. Entries must be in English or contain English subtitles.
All films selected are eligible for awards including the grand jury prize, the best international emerging award and the best UK film award.
The regular deadline is April 13. The entry fee ranges from US$16 to US$47.
