The Violation Documentation Center in Syria, at the Syrian Center for Media and Freedom of Expression, published the Monthly Statistical Report on Casualties in Syria, in October 2022.

Since March 2011 up until the end of October  2022, the Violations Documentation Center (VDC) has documented a total of 239,765 battle-related deaths.

In October 2022, a total number of 138 deaths were documented across different Syrian governorates, All of them were documented by full name.

All figures and statistics presented in this report were retrieved from the database of the Violations Documentation Center (VDC). They are not final and are subject to continuous and periodic scrutiny by the VDC’s database administrators and the field documentation team. Figures differ between reports and the most recent report is the most accurate.
