Monitoring & Evaluation Officer

Essential responsibilities for the desired position:

  • Create / update a vision, framework and strategic plan for SCM M&E tasks;

  • Define indicators, outputs and outcomes (Log frame) of SCM programs

  • Create / Lead M&E system and process development, creating a framework and procedures for monitoring and evaluation of project activities and ensure it is functioning satisfactorily

  • Lead all M&E initiatives for assigned grant(s)/project(s) including monitoring data quality tracking the progress of activities;

  • Develop guidelines, tools and reporting forms for monitoring of project implementation;

  • Support SCM staff in applying M&E guidelines and tools in preparing their reports;

  • Maintain a digital archiving system of all data and information related to M&E activities;

  • Contribute in developing proposals, and complete the parts of Monitoring & Evaluation, and ensure that the log frame is followed during implementation;

  • Report / highlight to management any signification variation during implementation to take corrective action.

  • Support and participate in program and project evaluations (Internal / External);

  • Other related tasks as per senior management requests.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • 3-4 Years experience in M&E

  • Excellent English language (Verbal, writing)

  • Excellent communication skills
