Journalists who cover energy, environmental or climate policy can apply to attend this free program.

Clean Energy Wire (CLEW) is hosting a media study tour April 22 to 24 in Germany.

Journalists will visit Mainz, Wörrstadt and Hunsrück to focus on “Investors, troublemakers: citizens & local powers of the Energiewende,” a bottom-up, decentralized and citizen-owned energy system.

The organizer will provide food, accommodations and local transportation. Participants can apply for 60 percent reimbursement for land-based travel or 40 percent reimbursement for air travel.

The program will be held in German and English.

The deadline is March 23.
