The Violations Documentation Center at the Syrian Center for Media and Freedom of Expression issued a brief report on the developments in Dara’a Al-Balad, documenting the deteriorating living situation, as well as shedding light on the severe deterioration that has reached the point of a humanitarian catastrophe, which is now threatening the lives of about 50,000 civilians, equivalent to 11,000 families live under the threat of arrest in case the city is stormed, and in light of a severe shortage of medical and food materials as a result of the siege and the closure of all outlets.
The report indicates that there is only one clinic in Dara’a Al-Balad with modest capabilities, its services are limited to providing first aid, and it lacks the required medical equipment and supplies.
