The Monitoring and Evaluation Officer at Basmeh and Zeitooneh will work to develop results based frameworks, as well as strategies for monitoring and evaluating the organization’s programs.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Program Managers and Senior Management in the development of systemic and realistic monitoring plans that utilize quantitative and qualitative data to report on project performance indicators.
- Develop plans for the monitoring of project activities and progress towards achieving the project’s targets, goals and objectives.
- Developing appropriate monitoring and impact indicators to measure the efficacy of programs implemented within the organization.
- Designs and implements a monitoring and evaluation framework for proposed projects.
- Train staff in using Monitoring and Evaluation tools to ensure that all tools and processes are understood.
- Conducts research in order to collect and analyze data for the production of program reports.
- Develops a process and tools for data collection, analysis, and reporting for project staff.
- Participates in the collection of data through the creation of surveys, as well as organizing focus groups, and interviews with beneficiaries or target communities.
- Cooperation with Project Manager in order to create monthly, quarterly, and final reports on findings and lessons learned through data collection and analysis.
- Contribute to the development of programs and proposals by developing logical frameworks and measurable indicators.
- Contribute to the capacity building of the organization by designing and establish a monitoring and evaluation system and strategy.
Job Requirements:
- A Bachelors degree in Development Studies, Business or Public Administration or other related social science field.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in designing and implementing monitoring and evaluation tools in non-governmental organizations.

- Must be proficient in English AND Arabic.
