July 26, 2023, marks the International Day in Support of Victims of Torture. On this day, the Syrian Center for Media and Freedom of Expression (SCM) stands in solidarity with all victims of torture and reaffirms its commitment to reveal the horrors of torture in Syria and bring its perpetrators to justice.

We share with you an interview with legal expert Dr. Ayman Huda Menem, director of the Legal Office at SCM. In this interview, Dr. Menem focuses on the crime of torture in Syrian and international law.
