Duration of the contract: from 02/01/2025 until 31-12-2025 including 3 probation months

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Managing the Violations Documentation Project and its working team on a daily basis.
- Continuous monitoring and evaluation of the progress of work and its implementation within the framework of the plan.
- Supervising the project’s work in relation to transferring work and the correctness of its implementation on the new center’s database.
- Periodic review and development of the project’s work methodology
- Examining the project structure, relationships between management and employees, and providing insight into work development mechanisms and information flow.
- Maintaining the work environment * Evaluating employee performance and developing plans to develop individual and collective team capacities
- Supervising the implementation of current grants for the Violations Documentation Project and ensuring compliance with contractual activities
- Contributing to preparing grant applications for potential donors and managing the project’s contractual obligations
- Preparing narrative reports for donors and reviewing financial reports
- Ensuring follow-up of reports received from the Monitoring and Evaluation Department, through coordination with other departments and ensuring the quality of information related to the implementation of activities.
- Preparing internal periodic reports for the project
- Coordinating work with the rest of the center’s projects
- Developing the project’s network of relationships, whether with donors, human rights institutions and field actors, civil rights and human rights, victim groups, victim and survivor community.
- Participate in internal and external meetings and activities and represent the project and the center to partners as needed (which may require travel)
- Any other tasks related to the project.
Requirement, Skills, and Experience:
- A university degree in law, or equivalent, preferably a master’s degree in law or management
- Excellent command of Arabic and English
- Computer skills, especially Google applications and digital security principles
- Project management experience of at least 3 years
- Working experience with legal institutions of at least 3 years
- Previous experience in working in a human rights field for 5 years at least
- Good knowledge of HRL, ICL and IHL as well as relevant international conventions
- Good knowledge of documentation principles, its rules and methods of practice
- Good knowledge of the Syrian context
- (Remote) management skills
- Initiative, flexible and creative
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to organize time and work
- A team player and yet have the skills to work alone
