Alongside the majority of Syrian civil society organisations, TDA have declared suspension of all activities until the evacuation of all civilians from Eastern Aleppo, in a safe and secure manner, is complete. This comes as a response to the international community’s complicity to the atrocities and war crimes committed by the Syrian regime and their allies in Aleppo for the past week.
The suspension will only be revoked if concrete and meaningful measures are taken to stop the regime’s violence, ensure the protection of civilians and facilitate their safe and dignified evacuation.
