The Violation Documentation Center in Syria, at the Syrian Center for Media and Freedom of Expression, published the Monthly Statistical Report on Casualties in Syria, in August 2022..

In August 2022, a total number of 142 deaths were documented across different Syrian governorates, among them, 141 were documented by full name and 1 was registered as unknown.
