Journalists from Egypt, Kurdistan Iraq, Lebanon, Jordan and Morocco with at least five years of experience can apply for this program.

Maharat Foundation and DW Akademie invite Arab journalists to take part in their advanced training program about media management, which will run January to May 2018 in the Middle East and North Africa region.

Participants will learn knowledge and skills that will help them run a media business successfully. Topics include how to develop the media business strategy, create, promote and sell content and how to create an effective team in contemporary media.

Graduates of the training will receive a certificate to show they have gained extensive understanding of media management in the context of journalism. Teaching and coursework will be in English.

All costs of the training, including travel expenses, will be covered by the organizers.
