The Investigative Reporters and Editors (IRE) Conference, to be held June 14 to 17, will feature more than 150 panels, hands-on classes and special presentations where speakers will share strategies for locating documents and gaining access to public records, finding the best stories and managing investigations across all media.

Fellowships typically include a one-year IRE membership, conference or seminar registration fees and reimbursement for hotel and travel expenses.

The Jennifer Leonard Scholarships are available to female college students or professional journalists. The James Richard Bennett Scholarships are intended for college students in Arkansas, Mississippi, Oklahoma or Louisiana.

The Godfrey Wells Stancill Fellowships support a limited number of journalists working for newspapers with Sunday circulation under 50,000. The David Dietz Fellowships are open to journalists with less than 10 years of professional experience and a demonstrated interest in financial investigative journalism.

The Diversity Fellowships invite applicants who identify themselves with one of the following minority groups: black/African American, American Indian/Alaskan, Native American, Asian-American, Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander and Hispanic/Latino.

Other awards include the Napoli Management Group TV Scholarship and the Columbia Journalism School Student Fellowship.
