Writers and artists can compete for an award.

The Sultan Qaboos Award for Culture, Art and Literature is a contest for all Arab nationals in the fields of economic studies, architectural design and literary criticism.

The competition aims to support cultural, artistic and literary fields as a way to promote human cultural progress and to contribute to the movement of scientific development and intellectual and cognitive enrichment.

The categories are cultural, human and social achievements. The screening and arbitration committee will choose one winner in each category to be honored for his or her work.

The deadline is July 27, 2017
