Call for Service Providers – Advocacy Trainer
The Syrian Center for Media and Freedom of Expression (SCM) is seeking a service provider (Advocacy Trainer) to conduct training for an emerging association of Families of Missing Asylum Seekers, according to the following requirements and tasks:
1. Submitting a Work Plan:
- Develop a comprehensive methodology that includes analyzing the current situation of the emerging association to identify its training needs and designing and delivering training tailored to its needs and objectives.
- Provide a detailed timeline outlining the training phases and clear implementation steps.
2. Conducting the Training:
- Train participants on the fundamentals of advocacy, campaign planning strategies, and partnership building.
- Provide practical examples and real-life case studies to enhance applied understanding and develop participants’ skills in a practical manner.
3. Providing a Final Report:
- Prepare a detailed report on the training, including performance evaluation, results analysis, and future recommendations.
Required Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in training in the fields of advocacy and human rights.
- Proven practical experience working with civil society organizations or human rights groups.
- Familiarity with the local and regional context, particularly regarding the rights of missing persons and migration.
- Excellent skills in managing training sessions and preparing interactive materials.
- Proficiency in the Arabic language.
Required Documents:

- Financial offer, including the validity of the offer (duration and date).
- Proof of experience in similar projects (certificates, reports, samples of work).
- At least two professional references.

Evaluation Criteria:
- Trainer’s experience and ability to deliver similar training: (70%
- Financial offer: (30%)
