Journalists from developing countries and Eastern Europe can apply for a scholarship to attend this course.
Finance Uncovered is organizing a financial investigative journalism and data security training course Sept. 17 to 21 at City University, London.
Participants will learn how to investigate corporate accounts, offshore activity and corporate corruption as well as where to find documents, how to analyze them and other practical tools to help uncover financial secrecy.
Scholarships will cover visa fees, travel, accommodation and per diems for food and transportation in London.
Journalists from the United Kingdom and Europe are welcome to apply, but must pay the GBP650 (US$871) course fee.
