Fulbright grants accepting applications [Lebanon]

Lebanese journalists, as well as Palestinian residents of Lebanon, can apply for this grant to study in the United States.

Students who wish to pursue a master’s degree at a university in the United States are invited to apply for the 2018-2020 Fulbright student scholarship program. The program covers a maximum of two academic years of study beginning in August 2017.

Applicants must reside in Lebanon and have completed (or be preparing to complete) a bachelor’s degree before summer 2018. They must also receive a TOEFL score of 80 or higher.

Priority will be given to those applicants who will study journalism, entrepreneurship, humanities, social sciences, political science and other fields that are not available in Lebanon.

The grant covers round-trip airfare between Lebanon and the United States, tuition, books, health insurance and room and board.

The deadline to apply is May 15.
