During this session, the Council discussed a range of civil, political, economic, social, and cultural rights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Syrian Center for Media and Freedom of Expression (SCM) prepared and delivered four oral interventions independently and in collaboration with partner Syrian civil society organizations. Three of these interventions were submitted under Item 3, and one under Item 4. SCM also made an advocacy visit to Geneva to meet with a UN body and facilitated the arrival of a number of partners to the Palais des Nations to attend side events on the sidelines of the session. The Syrian Center for Media and Freedom of Expression submitted comments related to the provisions of the Human Rights Council resolution on the \u201cHuman rights situation in the Syrian Arab Republic\u201d to the member states of the core group for inclusion and\/or consideration in the final resolution.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Syrian Center for Media and Freedom of Expression participated in two side events on the sidelines of the 57th session of the Human Rights Council.
