{"id":196672,"date":"2023-08-07T13:03:59","date_gmt":"2023-08-07T11:03:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/scm.bz\/?p=196672"},"modified":"2023-08-07T13:04:00","modified_gmt":"2023-08-07T11:04:00","slug":"refoulement-documentation-officer2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/scm.bz\/en\/refoulement-documentation-officer2\/","title":{"rendered":"Refoulement Documentation Officer"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Vacancy details:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Job title:<\/strong>&nbsp;Refoulement Documentation Officer<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Program\/ Project\/ Department:<\/strong>&nbsp;Refoulement Department<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Positions available:<\/strong>&nbsp;1 vacancy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Duration of the contract:<\/strong>&nbsp;12 months (including a 3-month probation period).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Application deadline:<\/strong>&nbsp;22 August 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Work Station:<\/strong>&nbsp;Remote, based in Jordan<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Roles and Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u2013<strong>Building<\/strong>&nbsp;a network of relationships with individuals and stakeholders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u2013<strong>Representing<\/strong>&nbsp;the center during the networking process in coordination with the line manager and other SCM\u2019s departments in accordance with the center\u2019s internal policies and procedures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u2013<strong>Monitoring<\/strong>&nbsp;and following up on the news related to Syrian refugees in surrounding host countries, through Arab and foreign open sources and private sources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u2013<strong>Reviewing<\/strong>&nbsp;and following up the past events and violations against refugees in surrounding host countries through open and private sources, and archiving the latest developments within the documentation\u2019s database system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u2013<strong>Communicating<\/strong>&nbsp;with witnesses and victims to document and archive their testimonies within the center\u2019s forms.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u2013<strong>Following up<\/strong>&nbsp;with witnesses and victims in order to provide them with their testimony status updates<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u2013<strong>Documenting<\/strong>&nbsp;and archiving information, documents, and data into the center\u2019s documentation database system attached with the associated proofs and evidence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u2013<strong>Ensure<\/strong>&nbsp;that all policies adopted at the center are adherence, including the digital security policy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u2013<strong>Maintaining<\/strong>&nbsp;the confidentiality and privacy of information and the people with whom it is dealt with in any case<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u2013<strong>Completing<\/strong>&nbsp;the assigned tasks within the specified time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p dir=\"ltr\">-Any other tasks assigned by the project manager or the line manager.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Requirement, Skills, and Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p dir=\"ltr\">-Relevant university degree or equivalent experience (preferably with a degree in law or social sciences)<br>-Experience in the context of Lebanon and Jordan, and having a wide network of relations in the same countries.<br>-At least one year of relevant experience.<br>-Proficiency in using computer and internet programs related to the work (Google Drive, Microsoft Office).<br>-Significant and detailed knowledge of the Syrian context especially regarding the involved actors in the conflict.<br>-Good knowledge of legal terminology and violations against refugees in neighboring countries.<br>-High teamwork\/communication skills.<br>-Good organizational skills, multitasking work skills, and time management.<br>-Flexibility to adapt to meet the changing requirements.<br>-Adhere to the beneficiaries \u2018policy and humanitarian\/human rights principles and ethics.<br>-Fluency in Arabic and knowledge of English are needed.
