Official documents date his death on the 25th November 2017
\nOn the night of 4 November 2013, two officers, accompanied by 12 armed soldiers stormed Dabbagh\u2019s residence, and accused him of failing to raise his son properly, they arrested him under the pretext of \u201cteaching him how to raise his son\u201d!.
\nAt the time of arrest, M. Dabbagh was the first educational adviser at the French school in the
\nsyrian capital, Damascus.<\/p>\n

The same armed group claimed affiliation to the the Air Force intelligence service, had raided Dabbagh residence the night before to take Mazen\u2019s 20-year-old son, Patrick Abdel-Kader for interrogation without providing any charges or context.<\/p>\n

Mazen and Patrick Abdelkader were taken to Mezzeh, the air intelligence detention center and forcibly disappeared. Noting that neither the father nor the son, had any prior anti-government activity before and after the March 2011 uprising.
\nThe death of Mazen and his son Patrick Abdelkader was confirmed earlier this year through an official family record state the date of death with no further details.<\/p>\n

The Mazzeh centre is widely known for its reputation as one of Syria\u2019s worst places of torture. The Independent International Commission of enquiry on Syria believes that it is one of the centres with the highest mortality rates.<\/p>\n

Official documents date his death on the 21th January 2014
\nPatrick AbdelKader Dabbagh, 20 years old student at the University of Damascus, the Faculty of Arts and Humanities; was arrested on November 3, 2013 at midnight by five people (two officers, two Security elements and an IT specialist) announced their affiliation with the Syrian Air Intelligence Service. They said they wanted to take Patrick for questioning, without specifying the reason for the arrest or his background.<\/p>\n

The next day, 4 November, the same officers, with 12 armed elements, returned this time at midnight and accused Patrick\u2019s father Mazen, of failing to raise his son properly!. they arrested him under the pretext of \u201cteaching him how to raise his son\u201d!.
