The families of the detainees and the disappeared have forcibly released the Freedom Bus, which began its journey from London to Damascus. The bus will stand in front of the court and the families will announce: No arrest or enforced disappearance in Syria anymore.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This bus carries with it the heartbeat of mothers who are waiting for their children, the longing of husbands and brothers, sisters and wives who wait for their family members to come open their front door once again.<\/p>\n

The bus will also carry the solidarity and love of people across the world, who embrace\u00a0us and raise their voices to demand that we are reunited with our loved ones.<\/p>\n

One day we hope to end our journey at the court house in Damascus where we will declare that there will be no more arbitrary detention and forcible disappearances. The Freedom Bus will stand ready to drive home freed detainees.<\/p>\n
