يقوم المركز السوري للإعلام وحرية التعبير (SCM) ببناء منصة افتراضية في إطار مشروعه “بوابة المجتمع المدني” الذي يهدف إلى تعزيز دور المجتمع المدني السوري، وتعزيز المعرفة بمنظماته ومؤسساته وعمله من خلال توفير الوصول إلى المعلومات المتعلقة بهذه المنظمات والمؤسسات عبر هذه المنصة الافتراضية.

منذ تأسيسه في عام 2004، عمل SCM على الدفاع عن الأفراد المضطهدين بسبب معتقداتهم وآرائهم، بالإضافة إلى تعزيز حقوق الإنسان ودعم وتطوير وسائل الإعلام المستقلة والناقدة والمهنية. على مر السنين، بنى SCM خبرته وشبكته، واستخدمها لتطوير المجتمع المدني السوري مع المجموعات المحلية الأخرى ومنظمات المجتمع المدني. على المستويين السياسي والمجتمع المدني، يتمتع SCM بموقف محايد من جميع الجهات الفاعلة، وهذا يمنح SCM موقفًا للالتقاء ومناقشة واقتراح جميع الجهات الفاعلة التوصيات المهنية والحيادية التي ستعمل على التحرك نحو مجتمع أكثر ديمقراطية واحترامًا في مستقبل سوريا.

تبحث SCM عن مصمم / فريق ويب متمرس قادر على انتاج ما يلي:

• تصميم مرئي للموقع. سيتم تصميم 50-60 صفحة تحت هذه المنصة. 
• مجموعة أيقونات أو تعريف للطريقة المناسبة لعرض الايقونات.
• بناء كود ومكتبات قابلة لإعادة الاستخدام للاستخدام في المستقبل.
• ضمان الجدوى الفنية لتصميمات UX.
• تحسين التطبيقات للحصول على أقصى سرعة وقابلية للتوسع.
• قالب لتصميم النشرة الإخبارية. (سيتم استخدام ثلاث لغات (العربية والإنجليزية والكردية) في المنصة؛ لذلك من المهم أن تتطابق الخطوط باللغتين العربية والإنجليزية بشكل جيد.

الخبرات والمهارات المطلوبة:

• يجب أن يكون لدى المزود خبرة متقدمة لا تقل عن 3 سنوات في العلامات التجارية وإنشاء وترميز مواقع الإنترنت وصفحات الويب.
• خبرة في JavaScript وCSS وjQuery وAPI.
• معرفة جيدة في Micro service architecture مع Django framework.
• فهم عميق لعملية تطوير الويب بالكامل (التصميم والتطوير والنشر).
• القدرة على استخدام لغة python.
• معرفة مبادئ تحسين محركات البحث.
• الإلمام ببرامج مثل Adobe Suite وPhotoshop وأنظمة إدارة المحتوى.
• القدرة على الأداء الجيد في بيئة سريعة الوتيرة.
• مهارات تحليلية.

 

مكان العمل: الافضلية لمن يتواجد في باريس. يمكن مناقشة الخيارات الاخرى.

Syrian Center for Media and Freedom of Expression

The Syrian Centre for Media and Freedom of Expression (SCM) is building a virtual platform under its project “Civil Society Gateway” that aims to enhance the role of the Syrian civil society, and to enhance the knowledge about its organizations and institutions and their work, by providing access to the information related to these organizations and institutions via this virtual platform.

Since its establishment in 2004, SCM worked to defend oppressed individuals due to their beliefs and opinions, as well as promoting human rights and supporting and developing independent, critical and professional media. Over the years, SCM built its expertise and network, and used them to develop the Syrian civil society with other local groups and CSOs. In the political and civil society levels, SCM has a neutral stand from all actors, this gives SCM the position to meet, discuss and propose to all the actors professional and neutral recommendations that will serve to move toward a more democratic and respectful society in the future of Syria. 

SCM is looking for an experienced web designer/team that will be able to achieve the following:

• Website visual design. 50-60 pages will be designed under this platform.
• Icon set or an icon style definition that matches the branding.
• Develop new user-facing features and functionality for our applications.
• Working on the front lines of the product team.
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UX designs.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end services.
• Template for newsletter design. (Three languages (Arabic, English and Kurdish) will be used in the platform; therefore, it is crucial that the fonts in Arabic and English are well matched.

Required Skills and Experience:

• The provider should have advanced experience of at least 3 years in branding and creating and coding internet sites and web pages.
• Experience in JavaScript, CSS, jQuery and API’s.
• Good knowledge in Micro service architecture with Django framework. 
• In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment) 
• Understanding of layout aesthetics. 
• Ability to use python language. 
• Knowledge of SEO principles. 
• Familiarity with software like Adobe Suite, Photoshop and content management systems 
• An ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment 
• Excellent analytical and multitasking skills

Location of Work:

   Being in Paris is preferable. Other options can be discussed.
